Together with longtime collaborator Missy Thangs, a Raleigh-based recording engineer, producer and composer, we provide end-to-end album creation services, guiding projects from songwriting through release.

Our combined skillset offers a unique, holistic approach to composition; by incorporating multi-perspective context—from recording techniques and arrangement aesthetics to lyric writing and performance style—we are able to work both panoramically and with nuance.

With a deep reverence for the creative process, we apply intention to architectural components that shape an individual song while also deeply considering how songs work thematically in dialogue as a collection.

An important goal of ours is to create a safe space for artists to be vulnerable and explore collaboration in an environment free from pretension, hierarchy and judgement. We are particularly committed to supporting underrepresented artists and elevating distinctive creative voices.

We believe in meeting artists where they are at, and therefore operate with flexibility around defined roles and project needs. Collectively, we have over 40 years of experience as independent music professionals—writing, recording, performing, touring, and collaborating.

Our latest collaboration is with natural born performer, Andrew Sa, from Chicago. His epic debut, American Rough, is a collection of raw and cinematic songs, exploring masculinity, longing, and queer intimacy. The album is backed by a constellation of North Carolina and Chicago talent. American Rough comes out June 2026.
